Elizabeth A. Yard
About
Ms. Yard was born in Michigan and attended school in Minnesota. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Hamline University, and received her law degree from Hamline University School of Law. During law school, Ms. Yard competed on the Mock Trial team, and completed a clerkship at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Ms. Yard returned home to Grand Rapids to practice law. She has litigation experience, and focuses her practice on workers’ compensation and Social Security disability. Ms. Yard has served on the State Bar Social Security Section Council, and has contributed to the Social Security Section Newsletter. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan, and also holds Federal licenses, including the District of Minnesota, Central District of Illinois, and the Western District of Michigan.
When she isn’t working, Beth volunteers as a mock trial coach at Caledonia High School. She also enjoys travel, boating, and spending time with her family.
